  On December 2, 2017, we participated in the ‘4th Wintering Project, Black Two Hands Day’ event hosted by Sangdo Community Center. We donated fund and delivered pieces of coal to neighbors in Sangdo-dong, Dongjak-gu. We would like to thank for your participation in meaningful events.

Registered as 'Professional Organization for Underground Safety Evaluation'

The ESCO Consultant and Engineers Company (ESCO) registered as 'Professional Organization for Underground Safety Evaluation' of Seoul Metropolitan City on January 12, 2018.   We will do our best as a professional organization to conduct underground safety evaluation in accordance with the 'Special Law on Underground Safety Management' enforced from January 1, 2018.

2017 Fall, Gamaksan Mountain Hiking

      On October 27, 2017, we conducted a climbing event in Gamaksan Mountain in Paju, Gyeonggi-do.The colorful autumn foliage peaked along the mountainside and high autumn sky heightened sense of climbing. The Gamaksan suspension bridge, which is the longest mountain suspension bridge (170 meters) in Korea, offered a lot of praise and joy ahead of the autumn hiking season. We had a great time to cement our close cooperation among all employees of ESCO.

Award from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

     In commemoration of ‘Engineering day 2017’, Mr. Joon-ho Lee, Senior Supervising Engineer of ESCO, received the Award from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for his hard work and accomplishment to engineering industry in Korea.    ESCO sincerely congratulates Mr. Lee!

Patent registration of “Performance prediction system of structures for a strategic maintenance”

  On September 25, ESCO Consultant & Engineers Company got a patent of which title is “the performance prediction system of structures for establishing a strategic maintenance plan (Patent Number : 10-1783250)” from the Korean Intellectual Property Office. This patent, which is one of the accomplishments of R&D with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, proposes a new preventive asset management model to maintain the underground structures efficiently and safely.

The 21st Anniversary of Foundation

  There was an event of our 21st anniversary of foundation, ESCO's employees gathered around to celebrate and have a meaningful time together. At this event, ESCO Christian Fellowship sang in chorus a special hymn and all ESCO members had a pleasant time together with meals.   Congratulations on ESCO's 21st anniversary!

2017 Spring, Bicycle trip to Yangpyeong

 All employees of ESCO gathered on Paldang Station, rented bicycles and had a bike trip from Paldang to Yangsu.  During the trip, we stopped by Historic Site of Dasan. And we had a guided tour that inspired us with Dasan Yak-Yong Jeong's trace of life. Through his works we have felt his concern about the future and the love for the people.   Also, we watched a beautiful scenery of Dumulmeori after lunch. Being away from the office, we had the opportunity to feel the breeze coming off the river and had a wonderful bonding time together.

Designated as 'Strong Small and Medium Sized Enterprises' in Korea

 The ESCO Consultant and Engineers Company (ESCO) was selected as one of "The Strong Small and Medium Sized Enterprises in Korea" by the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the day of April 27, 2017.  ESCO wants to grow together with smart, young and global mined engineers.  Please join us by working together.

Beginning of 2017, Cheonggyesan Mountain Hiking

 We started the New Year with climbing Cheonggyesan Mountain.  Despite the hazy weather, everyone looks lively and vibrant. As we climbed mountain so actively, we made a wish that the New Year would be the most powerful year.   After having lunch at a nearby restaurant, we went to the head office and had a new year's kick-off meeting. During this ceremony, we shared our thanks and greetings. We looked back into the past 2016 and have welcomed the New Year.   It wasn't a perfect day for hiking, but we started a new day with excitement.  ESCO wishes you health and happiness in 2017!

End of 2016

  All employees of ESCO people gathered and had a year-end meeting of 2016. And also, we shared our gifts in the meaning of secret santa, as we called "Manito," and had a hand-shaking event. Everyone gave thanks for whom the thoughtful gifts had given with a lot of joy and laughter.    ESCO wishes that the New Year would be full of health and happiness!

2016 Culture Event

 ESCO held a year-end event with all our family members, employees and their spouses. It wasn't easy to spend time with other family members all at once, but we watched the musical "Aida" after having dinner at the restaurant with a beautiful night view.  We hope this event to be the chance to get closer to each other.

2016 Volunteering Day

 We made a donation to the Sangdo Community Center, located in Dongjak-gu and participated in community volunteering activities.  We went to the low-income households living in Sangdo 1,2-dong and attached the insulating air cap to the window, and cleaned the house.  Our body got cold and even got tired of the work, but the heart was full of warmth.  ESCO hope the neighbors around us to keep off the cold in winter. And we hope we would bring warmth and love to others every year.

2016 Fall, Suraksan Mountain Hiking

 We climbed Suraksan Mountain, located in Nowon-gu, Seoul.   It was a pleasant time to be enchanted by the beauty of the nature.  Hearing the bird chirping sound, we breathed fresh air, that colorful autumn trees make.

 In commemoration of ‘Engineering day 2016’, Mr. Jae-Hoon Park, Senior Supervising Engineer of ESCO, received an Award from the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning. He got credit for his hard work and dedication to engineering industry in Korea.  ESCO sincerely congratulates Mr. Park!

The 20th Anniversary of Foundation

 There was an event of our 20th anniversary of foundation,  ESCO's employees gathered around to celebrate and have a meaningful time together.   At this event, we looked at the footsteps of the company and ESCO members that have been walking for the past 20 years. We shared the vision for the next 20 years and proclaimed the "ESCO Spirit" that will bind us together. Besides, we selected the first "ESCO Man" through inside-vote, awarded a prize, and celebrated him. Also, we celebrated our first "ESCO Gold Member". After recalling the identity of ESCO with crystal remembrance, we enjoyed dinner together.   Congratulations on ESCO's 20th anniversary!

CEO Lectures at the Yangon Technological University and the Engineering Society of Myanmar

 Dr. Seung-Ryull Kim, CEO of ESCO, gave lectures at the Yangon Technological University.  As a part of Myanmar Capacity Enhancement Programs, carried out by the Handong Global University, Dr. Kim also delivered lectures at the Engineering Society of Myanmar during the visit.

2016 Summer Workshop "Let's Prepare for the Future"

 ESCO held a summer workshop in Yeongwol and Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do for 2 days.  In celebration of the 20th anniversary of foundation, there was a vision presentation for the new 20 years.  In sportive activity, we have teamed up through river rafting. Despite severe stream of The Donggang River, ESCO people put all efforts together to arrive safely.  And the second day of workshop, we have visited The Baengnyong Cave in Pyeongchang. Throughtout the exploration, magnificent scene of cave made us stunned with splendid sight.    The ESCO consultant, started out with founding philosophy, "to serve society with engineering technology", has its 20th anniversary of establishment this year.  As the past 20 years, ESCO consultant will always serve society with our technology.

Beginning of 2016, Surisan Mountain Climbing

 We started the New Year vigorously with hiking Surisan Mountain.  As climbing the mountain, we strengthened our commitment to the New Year.  After lunch, we went to the office and held an opening meeting of this year and have shared our wishes of the New Year.   We look forward to an upcoming 2016 to be full of health and happiness!
